Freedom Sabbath with Special Guest - Sarah Pirtle

Join the TI community in welcoming special guest Sarah Pirtle for a sabbath of passover sing along and musicians Richie Davis, Sue Kranz, and Annie Hassett, familiar to TI.

These friends will bring a wide range of liberation music - songs that have the power to feed us for the journey towards freedom.

10AM for the song service and shared refreshements.

Eventide Songs of Hope and Comfort - Workshop & Participatory Concert

Saturday, April 22, 7:00pm

TI is proud to host Eventide Singers for a participatory concert exploring the role of music and presence in hospice and recovery care. The temple's Hevra Kadisha/Burial Society is the host and sponsor. Eventide has almost 10 years of bringing comfort, inspiration and harmony to home-bound individuals, the gravely ill and their caregiver teams. Donations invited; all are welcome.

Yizkor/The Memorial prayers are said on the occassion of the last day of Passover. Please join us to help support our members who are remembering a loved one.

Garden Cleanup

On Sunday, April 30, from 2-4 pm, we will be cleaning up the Temple garden. Please come with shovels, pruners, rakes, trowels, work gloves, loppers, and any other garden tools that might come in handy.

Mak'hela Spring Concert to honor Jewish Family Services' work with refugees

May 21 @ Community Music School of Springfield

Mak'hela: The Jewish Chorus of Western Massachusetts, will conclude its 14th season with its first-ever concert in Robyn Newhouse Hall at the Community Music School of Springfield (CMSS). The "Building Bridges of Peace" concert, which will take place Sunday, May 21, 2017, at 2:00pm, will also feature members of the Layaali Arabic Music Ensemble, a Massachusetts-based group of musicians specializing in Arabic music, and will honor the New American Program, an initiative of Jewish Family Services (JFS) of Western Massachusetts dedicated to resettling refugees in the local area. Jewish Genetics 101: What you should know about breast cancer and inheritance

Staff from the Family Cancer Risk Program of Baystate Medical Center will present on the BRCA genes, associated cancer risks, when to test, family history, options for treatment, emotional consequences and insurance concerns. National resources will be available and time will be set aside for questions and answers with experts in the field. Light refreshments will be served. Please pre-register.
