Elul is the Jewish month preceding the High Holidays in the fall, a time when many Jews engage in a process of self-reflection and recommitment to our core values. As part of the event, we will sound the shofar to wake us from our complacency and motivate us to act for justice. This is the first in a three-event series exploring the intersections between immigrant justice and racial justice, and centering the voices of people of color who are leaders on these issues.
