Tu B’Shvat Woods Walk with Dayenu Western MA **TIME CHANGE**
Sunday, February 5 @ 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
PLEASE NOTE: Due to cold weather, the walk will start at 1pm and be a simpler, shorter program.
Join Rabbi Andrea and Western MA Dayenu on a family-friendly woods walk in Highland Park in Greenfield to celebrate Tu B’shvat, the Jewish holiday of the trees. More information about the park at https://www.greenfieldrecreation.com/parks.html.
We’ll have a leisurely walk and discuss the holiday, identify trees along the walk and how trees fit into the holiday’s celebration. We’ll hand out brown bags of tree fruit at the end. We’ll meet in the parking lot at Highland Park at 10:30am. Please plan on coming a little early to walk with the group, or plan to meet us along the way.
Accessibility Information: This is a walk in the woods on the main trail in Highland Park in Greenfield. The trail does not go up onto the ridge but there is some incline/decline on the walk. Folks are encouraged to walk for as long as comfortable. Kids of all ages are welcome!
