The Last Trip: The Art of Awareness in Facing Our Final Journey

Sunday, November 21 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

“A workshop to support a more conscious and peaceful passage of death – and life”
Glimpse of the beyond and fears of dying: how can we change our perspective about death and learning an art of dying?
To effectively assist a person in the final phase of life, it is important that the supporting person has come to terms with their own mortality.
This workshop aims to increase the awareness of the art of dying, an experiential path that aims to face the fears around death and hopes and to increase the ability to know and listen to our inner Self.
In Montaigne’s words we can recall how death is intertwined with life: “He who taught men to die would teach them to live”.
Instructor: Patrizia De Libero has obtained a master in Death studies, and she graduated from the Conscious Dying Institute in Colorado, as a coach and death doula.
She has been recently accompanying people to die and began a project to raise awareness on facing death during life as ancient school used to do before the World Word II.
In her spiritual journey she has experienced a personal death and the importance of facing death as an instrument of awakening to life and to strengthen any spiritual practice we embrace.
She oversees a project called: “Everything is Life” the United States branch of a school founded by Father Guidalberto Bormolini in Florence. The Master’s program of this school utilizes world-class experts and is done in cooperation with the university of Padua (Italy). Father Bormolini, Ms. De Libero’s mentor, is one of the most respected experts on death studies and conscious dying. He has decades of experience, an incredible multi-faith background, and teaches meditation and other ancient and modern techniques related to death, dying and conscious living.
This 3-hour workshop will give you a taste of this course – offering a deeper sense of connection to death and life and some daily practices that will establish a basis for this incredible journey.
Freewill donations will be requested the day of the event. Please preregister by emailing: office(@)templeisraelgreenfield.org.
Masks will be required.
