Sephardi Selichot

Event Series Event Series (See All)

Monday, September 4 @ 5:30 am 6:30 am

In the Sephardi tradition, Selichot (prayers of repentance) are recited late at night or early in the morning throughout the month of Elul and the days leading up to Yom Kippur. This service will follow that custom and combine traditional prayers with contemporary poetry and songs to ground and prepare for the coming year. Due to the realities of modern rural life, community members are invited to join us in person for the first night of Selichot, and on zoom in the morning for the remainder of the month. Additional in person gatherings may be possible if there is strong community demand.

On Zoom, registration required: http://bit.ly/sephardiselichot
