Selichot Community Event

Our valley-wide community Selichot program at Congregation B’nai Israel (CBI) in Northampton at 253 Prospect Street. Outdoors, weather permitting. In case of inclement weather, we’ll meet indoors and masks will be required. Led by the four rabbis of CBI, Beit Ahavah, Jewish Community of Amherst and Temple Israel of Greenfield.
This event will be free and open to the public.
The valley wide Selichot gathering is the first taste of the themes of the high holiday season: self-reflection, humility, remorse and repair. Instead of “sin,” think “out of alignment.” Instead of “confession,” think “bringing awareness.”
