Reconciliation Film Series and Discussion: Accidental Courtesy @ GCC

A set of films exploring the difficult path of reconciliation will be held as part the anniversary of the days between the nuclear attack on Nagasaki and Hiroshima August 6,7 and 8 at 1PM at GCC downtown campus, 270 Main Street in Greenfield. The public is welcome for any or all of the films. There is no charge for the films, but participants must register at this link. Post viewing discussion will be led by Andrea Cohen Kiener. August 8 @ 1PM: Accidental Courtesy: Director Matthew Ornstein tells the story of African American pianist and activist as he approaches Klansmen with the simple and disarming question “How are you going to hate me when you don’t know me?” The film tells the story of this remarkable man and his astonishing impact on Black-White relations.
