Outdoor Simchat Torah Celebration

Tuesday, September 28 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

All are welcome to join an outdoor festival at Temple Israel celebrating the Torah and Jewish culture. On this holiday, we read the last few words of our holy scroll, and begin a new cycle by continuing again from the very beginning.

Music will be provided by an all-star ensemble led by Myk Freedman guaranteed to get you dancing.
Myk Freedman-guitar, Jason Ditzian-clarinet, Richie Barshay-drums and Chris Ball-bass will perform two hours of romping Jewish party music spanning the Old World up to tunes they wrote last week.

Note that Myrtle St will be closed to allow us more room to spread out. Please plan to park on another street.

Potluck food contributions welcome, but not required. Feel free to bring food just for your own family.

In accordance with recommendations from the Mayor’s office, please plan to wear a mask.

Support provided by the Jewish Endowment Foundation, a division of the Jewish Federation of Western Massachusetts.
