Shomrei Adamah: Farm Field Trips
Thursday, July 7 @ 9:00 am – 11:30 am

Shomrei Adamah (Keepers of the Earth) is an outdoor education program where kids ages 2-8 years old can explore the relationship between Jewish tradition and the land where we live. We’ll visit farms and homesteads around Franklin County to explore a wide array of ways to engage with local agriculture and our ecosystem.
We’ll provide a gentle, creative and engaging format to the morning:
– Opening circle with songs
– Activities such as learning about compost, animal chores, building a bridge across a stream or threshing wheat.
– Snack time and opportunity to learn different blessings over foods
– Closing circle and free time

This is not a drop-off program; caregivers will have to stay throughout the program and enjoy the farm and garden scenes of Franklin County.
TIG members: $16/week or $88/ 6 weeks
$8/week for each additional kid
Non-TIG members: $20/week or $100/ 6 weeks
