Musical Kabbalat Shabbat Service with Yoel Sykes of Nava Tehila! “Coming Home to Love”
Friday, September 2, 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Labor Day Weekend

Led by Yoel Sykes, with Rabbi Riqi Kosovske, community rabbis and Levite Community Musicians.
This is a special outdoor evening service and Oneg at Beit Ahavah, 130 Pine Street, Florence.  

There will be chairs, and you can bring additional lawn chairs or picnic blankets.  All ages are welcome!

Thank you! About Yoel:  Yoel Sykes is the co-spiritual facilitator of Jerusalem’s ground-breaking Nava Tehila Jewish Renewal community.  They compose many of Nava Tehila’s musical prayers including beloved melodies like Oseh Shalom and Yaaloz Sadai and chants of the Kabbalat Shabbat psalms. Yoel is a rabbinical student in ALEPH Alliance for Jewish Renewal Ordination program, currently based in Boulder.  (Learn more at YoelSykes.com and NavaTehila.org.)  Yoel will also be co-leading services with Rabbi Ben Weiner at the Jewish community of Amherst on Saturday morning, Sept 3.  Covid safety:  Vaccines are required for 5+.  Masks are optional outdoors.  Service leaders and singers do not usually wear a mask while leading.
