Shabbat Picnic: Family and Adult activities @ Green River Rec Area

Join us for a Shabbat Picnic and Search for Shretelech! Maggid David Arfa will lead us on a mini-expedition in search of the kindly Shretelech, the Yiddish word for elves. We'll explore the natural world through the eyes of children, hear stories of the magical Shretelech, and build shelters for them. Along the way, we'll explore the colors and textures of nature and introduce Jewish blessings for the natural world. After the hike, we'll gather for Shabbat Dinner on the grill.

For preschool and young elementary aged kids and their families. Free and open to all.

Mikvah @ Gardeners Falls

Shelburne Mikvah is Back! All are invited to a watery immersion to mark the freshness of Shabbat. Our first Mikvah of the season is happening this Friday, May 31, at 4:45. These Deerfield River Immersions (co-ed- with swimwear), are brief and refreshing; our ceremony is simple . The River shares her power with all who dare.
