Shabbat Services

Services at Temple Israel Greenfield are inclusive, musical, educational and meaningful. Reb Andrea and our guest leaders explore the liturgy and bring forth gems of insight and prayer and evocative music.

Don't just be a Three Times a Year Jew! Take advantage of weekly opportunities to center, celebrate and reflect.

September thru May

First Fridays

5:00 pm: All who wish gather to cook together
6:00 pm: Community Dinner, with shabbat blessings and singing! Contributions of desserts and beverages are welcome

Second Saturdays

10:00 am-11:30 am: Song and Study -- Chant sections from the Shabbat service; followed by a rousing discussion of the weekly Torah service.

Third Friday

7:00 PM Traditional Shabbat Service. All welcome

Fourth Saturday

10:00 Shabbat morning service - inclusive yet traditional! Followed by light kiddush.

Other opportunities for prayer, celebration and spiritual support are offered from time to time. See our calendar listings for events.

Strengthen our music by listening to songs that we often use in the services. Right now, Rabbi Andrea is teaching this song and this one from Nava Tehillah (an Israeli group) for Friday services.
