Superbia Neighborhood Garden Tour 4-7PM

TI's Superbia Project (making Suburbs and towns Superb!) is planning a neighborhood walking tour. We'll start near Temple Israel and visit new and established vegetable gardens, an ornamental garden and a back yard orchard. Then we'll hop into our cars and drive off to the home of a friend of TI who has a beautiful greenhouse and community garden in her backyard. We'll have a tour and dinner there. Great if you can bring dessert or a beverage.

Let's Talk & Listen on Israel/Palestine: Our Hopes Concerns and Fears.

Final in a series that the Israel Dialogue Project has been offering this year. Our goal was to widen our empathy and capacity for listening to each other - even as we disagree in our vision and hopes for the middle east.

The committee is planning a dinner (5:30) and a 2 part program (6:30). In this transitional program, we will first turn our ears to hear each others' hopes, fears and concerns for Israel. After a dessert break, we'll hear from 2 Moslem friends of TI, one of them a Palestinian American woman.

The event is free and open to the public.

Tour of Local Gardens

Join your neighbors for a walking tour of local gardens. We'll see ornamental yards, backyard orchards and backyard community gardens, all near our neighborhood. We'll meet at TI at 4 and we'll visit new and established growers for a day of fun and learning. 4-7; ends with a community meal on Bernardston Road. Desserts and beverages welcome.
